Dr Madan Narayanan was appointed as a consultant in Anaesthesia & Intensive in Frimley Health NHS Trust, UK in 2011. His special interests are regional anaesthesia in intensive care and lung ultrasonography.
He is the course director for the very first continuous regional anaesthesia course in the UK, the Frimley Regional Anaesthesia Catheter Course (FRACC). He is also a well-regarded faculty in national and international regional anaesthesia courses.
He is a honorary lecturer in the MSc Regional Anaesthesia, University of East Anglia and runs his own Youtube channel to promote education in regional anaesthesia. He has also authored review articles in BJA Education.

Dr Arun Venkataraju MD FRCA EDRA

Dr Arun Venkataraju was appointed as a consultant in Anaesthesia, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Basingstoke & Winchester, UK in 2014. His special interests are sonoanatomy of spine and continuous catheter analgesic techniques for abdominal surgeries. He played an integral part in setting up the rectus sheath catheter service in his hospital (Basingstoke).
He is faculty in numerous regional anaesthesia courses in the UK, including FRACC, EPIC, BUSCIPAN, Essex Continuous regional anaesthesia course and Pan Essex Regional Anaesthesia Course. He has also authored review articles in BJA Education and is a honorary lecturer in the MSc Regional Anaesthesia, University of East Anglia.

Dr Karthik Ponnusamy MBBS MD FRCA EDRA FFPMRCA

Dr Irfan Raza MBChB MPhil MRCSed FRCA

Irfan has just completed his training and been appointed as a consultant anesthetist with an interest in vascular anaesthesia in Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey, UK. He graduated from The University of Liverpool and completed basic surgical training at the Royal Surrey County Hospital before switching careers to anaesthesia. Regional anaesthesia allows him to combine anaesthesia, anatomy and practical procedures. Irfan also described a new block called the sub-pectoral interfascial plane block.
In addition to the above he is also passionate about teaching. He is Faculty on a number of regional anaesthesia courses including The Frimley Regional Anaesthesia Catheter Course (FRACC) and the Essex Continuous Regional Anaesthesia Course for more experienced practitioners as well as The Basic Ultrasound Competency in Probe and Needling (BUSCIPAN) course for core trainees. He is a faculty member of the South London Anaesthetic Primary (SLAP) course and is an honorary lecturer in the MSc in Regional Anaesthesia at the University of East Anglia.
